PHILOSOPHY

When you approach design as a story teller, you add resonance and sense of discovery for the participants in the space. For those entering the space, holistic design offers a richer engagement. To be fully absorbed in the narrative, we need cohesion. This extends beyond the interiors reinforcing the logo; it includes printed matter, furniture and products.

 

The 'plot' changes depending on the story we tell, the ideals we communicate. It can be about the young quirky scientist, or a time-traveling Victorian gentleman. However,the effect of active engagement remains. The experience and connection to a well designed space not only contributes to our self narrative, becoming something we identify with, but it is also something we share with others.

 

Design is emotive; the expierences it fosters connects people not just to spaces but those that have been there before and will follow.
